The Trafag PV/PVF Vari Pressostat (903, 907, 940 and 941) is a rugged electromechanical pressure switch with a tough aluminium housing and IP65 protection. It's a proven, no-nonsense switch that keeps working in harsh conditions.
It uses a bellows measuring principle and switches a single floating change-over contact (SPDT), wired via screw terminals. No power supply, no electronics to fail, just dependable mechanical switching. It can be mounted in a range of positions to suit the installation.
Measuring ranges run from -0.9 bar up to 40 bar across the variants, with adjustable switch points and ±1.0% FS typical repeatability. It handles media temperatures from -40°C to +150°C and ambient temperatures from -25°C to +70°C, with G1/4 female, G1/2 male and 1/4 NPT female pressure connections.
Marine approvals include ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, KRS, LRS and RINA, plus EN60730-1/EN60730-2-6 Type 2.B.H. It's widely used in shipbuilding, railways, hydraulics, machine tools and engine manufacturing.
