The Trafag PST4K 9K4 Picostat is a compact electromechanical pressure switch for higher pressure duty in rail and shipbuilding. It offers high vibration resistance in a small body across a wide temperature range.
It uses a piston measuring principle, well suited to high pressure hydraulics, and switches a single floating change-over contact (SPDT) via an EN175301-803-A (DIN43650-A) connector. IP65 protection and diverse mounting positions make it easy to install.
Measuring ranges run from 1-10 up to 40-400 bar (14-150 to 580-5800 psi) with ±1.0% FS typical repeatability. Media temperatures run from -25°C to +125°C and ambient from -25°C to +85°C, with G1/8, G1/4 and M10x1.0 female pressure connections.
It carries BV, CCS and RINA approvals plus EN60730-1/EN60730-2-6 Type 2.B.H, and is used in railways, hydraulics, machine tools and engine manufacturing.
