The Trafag PST4B 9B4 Picostat is a compact electromechanical pressure switch with improved vibration resistance, built for marine and rail environments where things shake, rattle and get cold.
It uses a bellows measuring principle for accurate low to medium pressure switching, with ±0.5% FS typical repeatability. It switches a single floating change-over contact (SPDT) via an EN175301-803-A (DIN43650-A) connector, carries IP65 protection and can be mounted in any position.
Ranges run from -0.6 to 3.4 bar up to 4-40 bar (-8 to 45 psi up to 60-500 psi). Standard media temperatures run from -25°C to +125°C, with an extended version down to -40°C. Pressure ports include G1/8, G1/4 and M10x1.0 female and G1/4 male.
Approvals include ABS, BV, CCS, KRS, LR and RINA plus EN60730-1/EN60730-2-6 Type 2.B.H. It suits shipbuilding, railways, machine tools and engine manufacturing.
