The Trafag NAE 8256 is a robust marine pressure transmitter built for shipbuilding and life at sea. It's one of the smallest pressure transmitters of its kind to carry ship approvals, making it a natural fit where space on board is tight.
The thin-film-on-steel sensor sits in a completely welded steel system with no additional seals, giving high resistance to overpressure (triple safety margin) and excellent long-term stability. Accuracy is ±0.3% FS, and an optional one or two PNP switching output lets it work as a pressure switch.
Ranges cover 0-0.2 to 0-700 bar (0-3 to 0-10,000 psi) with a 4-20 mA output. Media and ambient temperatures run from -40°C to +125°C. Electrical connection is M12x1 or IP67/IP68 cable, with pressure connections including G1/4 (with optional integrated damping), G1/8, 1/4 NPT and M10x1. Approvals include DNV, EU RO and Mutual Recognition.
Applications include shipbuilding, marine hydraulics and engine manufacturing.
