The Trafag FPT 8236 is a flush membrane pressure transmitter built for applications that need a robust, corrosion-resistant sensor with a smooth, plain measuring surface.
Its flush diaphragm is made from duplex steel 1.4462, so there are no cavities for media to collect in. That's ideal for viscous, contaminated or hygiene-sensitive media. The fully welded sensor system, based on Trafag's thin-film-on-steel technology, gives excellent long-term stability and high corrosion resistance.
Measuring ranges run from -0.5 to 0.5 bar up to 0 to 100 bar (-5 to +10 up to 0 to 1500 psi), with ±0.5% FS accuracy. Output options include 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, 1-6 VDC, 0-10 VDC and 0.5-4.5 VDC ratiometric. It works across media and ambient temperatures from -10°C to +125°C, with a G1/2 flush membrane connection and DIN43650-A, M12x1, Packard Metri Pack or cable electrical connections.
It's a reliable fit for hydraulics, machine tools, process technology, food production and water treatment.
