The Trafag FPI 8237 is an intelligent IO-Link pressure transmitter and switch with a smooth, flush-mounted measuring diaphragm made from corrosion-resistant duplex steel 1.4462. No dead spaces, no crevices, nothing for media to build up in.
That makes it a strong choice where hygiene, viscous media or contamination are a concern. The fully welded sensor system uses Trafag's thin-film-on-steel technology for excellent long-term stability, and it measures media temperature alongside pressure.
As an IO-Link 1.1 smart sensor with real-time diagnostics and a minimum cycle time of 1 ms, it plugs neatly into connected production. Two configurable switching outputs (PNP, NPN or Push-Pull) let it double as a pressure switch. Ranges run from -0.5 to 0.5 bar up to 0 to 100 bar at ±0.5% FS, with media temperatures from -10°C to +125°C and a G1/2 flush membrane connection.
Typical applications include hydraulics, machine tools, process technology, the food industry and water treatment.
