The Trafag EPR 8283 is a compact railway pressure transmitter built for reliable, accurate pressure measurement over a wide temperature range. It's designed for the demands of brake, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on rail vehicles.
It complies with EN 50155 for railway applications and EN 45545-2 for fire protection, with a dielectric strength of 750 VDC. The compact, welded steel sensor system has no additional seals, and Trafag's thin-film-on-steel technology gives excellent long-term stability.
Ranges run from 0-2.5 to 0-600 bar (0-30 to 0-7500 psi) with a 4-20 mA output and accuracy of ±0.5% or ±0.3% FS. Media and ambient temperatures run from -40°C to +125°C. Pressure connections include G1/4, NPT, SAE J-series and DIN options, with EN175301-803-A, M12x1, MIL-C 26482 or cable electrical connections.
