The Trafag EPI 8287 is a robust industrial pressure transmitter combining a proven thin-film-on-steel sensor element with Trafag's own in-house developed ASIC TX.
The completely welded steel sensor system needs no additional seals, giving excellent long-term stability and fewer failure points. Triple overpressure safety is standard, with 5-fold available, and an AISI 316L housing is offered for more aggressive environments. Accuracy classes of 0.3% and 0.5% let you match the sensor to the job.
Ranges run from 0-2.5 to 0-700 bar (0-30 to 0-10,000 psi), with media and ambient temperatures from -40°C to +125°C. Outputs include 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, 0.5-5 VDC, 1-6 VDC, 0-10 VDC and 0.5-4.5 VDC ratiometric. There's a wide choice of electrical connections (EN175301-803-A, M12x1, Packard Metri Pack, MIL-C 26482, DIN72585, cable) and pressure connections (G1/4, NPT, M14x1.5, UNF).
It's a dependable workhorse for hydraulics, machine tools and general industrial pressure measurement.
