The Trafag DPC 8380 is an electronic pressure switch and transmitter with an integrated pressure display. It puts switching, analogue output and a clear local readout into one compact unit, so operators can see what's happening at the machine without reaching for a gauge.
Setting it up is easy. It can be configured on the device itself or via NFC using Trafag's Android smartphone app, so there's no need for extra cables or programming kit. The display and the electrical connection rotate independently (335° and 343°), so it reads the right way up however it's mounted. It also has an integrated data logger for tracking pressure history.
The measuring range is adjustable across 0-0.2 to 0-100 bar (0-2.5 to 0-1500 psi), with accuracy of ±0.5% or ±0.3% FS. The analogue output can be selected as 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, 1-6 VDC or 0-10 VDC. Its thick-film-on-ceramic sensor gives high corrosion resistance, with flush membrane options available. Media and ambient temperatures run from -25°C to +85°C, with an M12x1 electrical connection and G1/4, G1/2, NPT, SAE and DIN3852-E pressure connections.
It's well suited to machine tools, process technology, HVAC, refrigeration and water treatment, particularly at lower pressure ranges.
