The Trafag CMP 8271 is a miniature CANopen pressure transmitter built for mobile hydraulics and harsh environments. Small, rugged and highly configurable, it's made for cost-effective OEM solutions.
It communicates using the CANopen bus protocol (DS301/DS404), supporting CAN 2.0A/B, with LSS (DS 305 V2.0) for straightforward node configuration. That means less wiring and easier integration into CAN-based machine control. The measuring range is adjustable, and optional 5-fold overpressure resistance adds protection against pressure spikes.
Ranges run from 0-2.5 to 0-700 bar (0-30 to 0-10,000 psi) using thin-film-on-steel sensing, with accuracy of ±0.5% or ±0.3% FS. Media and ambient temperatures run from -40°C to +125°C. Electrical connection is M12x1, with G1/4, NPT, SAE and metric pressure connections.
It's a strong fit for hydraulics, mobile machinery, machine tools, process technology and engine manufacturing.
