The Trafag 987/988 Pressostat is a compact electromechanical pressure switch with factory-set switch points, ideal for OEMs who want a switch that arrives ready to fit.
It uses a bellows measuring principle with a choice of steel or bronze bellows, and offers one or two floating change-over contacts (SPDT). Electrical connection is by IEC blade connector (2.8 x 0.5 mm), keeping installation quick and simple.
Measuring ranges run from -0.3 to 1.3 bar up to 1 to 10 bar, with ±1.0% FS typical repeatability. Media temperatures run from -25°C to +80°C and ambient from -25°C to +70°C, with a G1/4 male pressure connection. It conforms to EN60730-1/EN60730-2-6 Type 2.B.H.
Typical applications include machine tools and medium voltage technology, such as gas pressure monitoring in switchgear.
