The Trafag 947 is an industrial electromechanical pressure switch designed for use as simple apparatus in potentially explosive atmospheres, in line with ATEX.
It conforms to EN60079-0 and EN60079-11 for use in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. With a compact, rugged housing, IP65 protection and any mounting position, it brings dependable mechanical switching to hazardous areas without complicated electronics.
It uses a piston measuring principle for high pressure duty, with ranges from 1-10 up to 60-600 bar and ±1.0% FS typical repeatability. It switches a single floating change-over contact (SPDT). Media temperatures run from -30°C to +100°C with NBR seals, or -15°C to +150°C with FKM, and ambient from -25°C to +70°C.
It's well suited to hydraulics and industrial pressure monitoring in hazardous areas, including marine, rail and process installations.
