Atrato® Ultrasonic Beverage Flow Meters

The Atrato® Ultrasonic Beverage Flowmeter is a low-cost, clean-bore inline meter designed for drinks-dispensing and food & beverage batching. With a completely unobstructed 6 mm bore and food-contact approved wetted parts, it handles beer, wine, spirits and juice extracts with minimal pressure drop and is compatible with all standard line-cleaning methods, including foam pellets that pass straight through the meter.

Food-grade wetted materials (PC/ABS flow tube with Viton™ seals).
5 bar maximum operating pressure; approx. 0.1 bar pressure drop at full flow.
Green status LED for power/flow/empty-pipe/fault indication.
2 m flying-lead cable; 0.25 kg including cable.

Performance & outputs

Flow range: 0.5–10 L/min.
Output: open-collector (NPN) pulse; ~5000 pulses per litre (customisable for volume applications).
Maximum pulse frequency: 833 Hz.
Linearity: ±0.5 % FSD; repeatability better than 1 % at 250 ml batches; sensor-to-sensor variation ±5 %.
Supply: 7–24 V DC (12 V recommended), ~40 mA typical.

Temperature & media

Best operating range: 0–15 °C (useable up to 50 °C).
Suitable for beer, wine, spirits, juice extracts and ultra-pure water.

Installation & indication

Preferred orientation: vertical, upward flow, with the cable entry (also the inlet) at the bottom.
Standard meter does not register reverse flow.
LED behaviour:
- Solid green = powered/ready
- 50:50 flashing proportional to flow = measuring
- Short flash every second = empty pipe
- 3 short + 3 long + 3 short = fault
