Your tasks As NPD Project Manager: • Plan and lead New Product Development Pre-studies according to decisions taken by the Project Steering Group (PSG) and to directions given by the R&D Director and by the Sponsor • Plan and lead New Product Development Projects according to decisions taken by the Project Steering Group (PSG) and to directions given by the R&D Director and by the Sponsor • Be responsible for all aspects of new products until the project closing • Identifying, developing, and gathering resources to complete the project. Developing and keeping a time plan as well as investment plans • Coordinating project-related issues between R&D, Sales & Marketing, Operations, and other SWEP functions • Conducting follow-up meetings with the team. Preparing reports and communicating the status of projects to the Steering Group As R&D team lead: • Acting as team lead for the R&D team in Suzhou • Developing the local team and driving local R&D activities in line with directions from R&D global functions • Reporting to R&D global functions
