St Paul’s Cathedral Ardex A35 Screed

Speed Screed was delighted to be selected to work on Borras Constructions prestigious development at St Paul’s Cathedral School. “Borras Construction are a highly respected main contractor. leading the way in design, construction and maintenance of the built environment.” The project required a fast-drying high-performance screed. Ardex A35 was the specified screed, with industry-leading characteristics such as: • Walkable in 3 hours • Bond ceramics and natural stone tiles directly after only 24 hours • Install carpet, wood and vinyl floor coverings after 24 hours (4 hours for carpet and vinyl when smoothed with Ardex A55) • After 24 hours, achieves minimum compressive and tensile bending strengths that stand cement screed reaches at 28 days
