What is Thermoforming?

Thermoforming is a plastics manufacturing process where a heated sheet of plastic is shaped over a mould to form components. It’s used to produce custom parts economically, especially when tooling and volume make injection moulding less viable. In vacuum forming — your core service — this plastic sheet is pulled onto the mould by vacuum pressure.
