Our expertise in durable high performance cable assemblies and wiring harnesses can be called upon when a customer wants reassurance that his electrical system can be relied upon. The electrical systems within the Energy Sector often have to function continuously for long periods of time. Any down time can be costly in terms of lost energy and maintenance, particularly if the system is located offshore. It is therefore important that the wiring systems involved are built to offer extended operational life. Offshore and Subsea applications have very specific and demanding environmental challenges. Experience gained within the Defence sectors has helped Phoenix develop solutions to tackle problems such as water ingress and salt spray. Wind Energy is a particularly strong area for Phoenix Dynamics and we are actively involved with a number of new and existing projects with major players within the industry. A key service for Phoenix Dynamics within this sector is the supply of high power cable assemblies and earth leads. We have a highly efficient manufacturing cell dedicated to cables assemblies of wire sizes 16mm² through to 150mm². The cell has the capacity to produce thousands of cables week after week.
