The Bonzer Hawthorne Strainer is a heavy duty cocktail strainer that has two stabilising ears for easy use.  It is designed for professional use and incorporates a thumb stop and removable spring.  A cocktail strainer is used by professional bartenders for removing ice from mixed drinks when serving them into drinking glasses.  Hawthorn strainers work like a sieve and are placed over the glass or cocktail shaker allowing only the mixed drink to pour into the glass.   We recommend using it with a Boston Can Cocktail Shaker or one of our Cocktail Shakers.
