CTEC Mechanism reached the ISS with ACES/PHARAO

In 2002, Cedrat Technologies (CTEC) developed its first piezo optical pointing mechanism, the DTT35XS Double Tip-Tilt, for the CNES PHARAO mission. Designed to precisely steer laser beams in an atomic clock, this innovation has now reached orbit (launch to ISS on April 2025), showcasing CTEC’s long-term expertise in space mechanisms.
