The inspiration behind our Spring Summer 2016 campaign

As we have now unveiled our wonderful SS16 collection to you, we thought you would like to see the creative journey we travelled to develop our latest Fair Trade range. This season our collection is inspired by the maze of cobbled alleyways in the old market of Lisbon. The bright fruits, aromatic coffees and flea markets, the warm starry nights and tumbling notes of local music – drinks on verandas with colourful arrays of hand-painted tiles. With our senses filled we couldn’t wait to start the collection. We felt so inspired and creatively driven by spending time in such a unique place. Reflecting both the fiesta and the warm nights, this spring/summer our prints are a mix of bright and beautiful bold designs, together with intricate florals in the softest shades. We have increased our organic collection, perfect for layering over our popular printed dresses and we have a wider range of plain and printed trousers, in relaxed shapes. This season also sees the launch of our new summer knitwear, ideal for slipping over one of our many transitional pieces. Nomads would love you to join us in our colourful celebration of summer with bright shift dresses, pretty jumpsuits, new knitwear and organic cotton staples, in our original prints and trademark handcrafted detailing. As firm supporters and lovers of traditional crafts, you will discover our collection of artisan pieces, including traditional Indian woodblock printing, tie dye and details such as carved wooden buttons. We also have a small number of softly tailored, textured handwoven summer jackets and on-trend broderie anglaise – for those lazy, hazy summer afternoons. We have four colourways of designs for you to discover and fall in love with, just like how we fell in love with Lisbon!
