We adore our latest Spring Summer 2016 range here in our Cornish headquarters and we thought we would introduce some of our fantastic staff and show you their top pieces for this season. We adore our latest Spring Summer 2016 range here in our Cornish headquarters. Our current collection, inspired by the wonderful streets of Lisbon reflects the city’s summer fiesta and warm nights. This really shines through in our summer print range as they are a mix of both bright and beautiful bold designs, together with intricate florals in the softest of hues. We thought we would introduce some of our fantastic staff and show you their top pieces for this season. Nomads clothing reflects a woman who loves colourful, feminine and unique clothes. Our garments are a modern take on ethnic clothing so that you can look and feel fabulous. We pride ourselves in our strong ethical Fair Trade values and our collection highlights this by including traditional artisan techniques and organic cotton. Meet Lesley, Shallon and Jo. Can you tell that they are huge fans of our Asha print in Midnight? Lesley (Left) is our wonderful website manager and her favourite garment is our ruched tunic, which comes in midnight blue or a silver colour. The tunic has a soft long line shape that flares out from the bust line which is guaranteed to flatter. It is Lesley’s best piece as it layers so well with our Organic cotton knitwear, suits her bust area and washes very well. Shallon, our trade sales whizz loves the same print but in our long maxi skirt which is a signature Nomads piece. The perfect balance of comfort and style, this lovely long jersey skirt in midnight blue has adjustable ruched sides at the hem. Shallon loves how it feels on, and believes it’s the most versatile item in our collection because it can be worn over leggings in the cooler months too. Jo, also a trade sales guru prefers our cowl neck dress because of its draping easy-fit sleeves and tie so it can be worn in many ways. Jo relishes the colours of the dress as they are trans seasonal and she enjoys picking out the highlighting hues with her own accessories to finalise off her fabulous look. Our marvellous director Vicky’s top summer pick is our gorgeous floral dress. Vicky cherishes the vintage styling and how distinctive the garment is. She loves how bright the colours are and feels very feminine wearing it. Vicky has recently worn it whilst having afternoon tea with her mother in law and can’t wait to wear it again. Meet Sian, (Middle) the newest member of the team and is our enthusiastic design assistant. Here, Sian is top to toe in Nomads. She treasures her double layer vest top because it is an essential and elegant summer wardrobe staple and she thinks it is a lovely floaty layering piece that is so versatile to wear. Her favourite print is the Alicia in the silver colourway. Sian owns both the gorgeous wide legged trousers and the jumpsuit. She can’t wait to wear both when she heads to Glastonbury next month. Kate, (Right) our outstanding senior designer’s prized piece is our Organic tunic dress in a bold leaf print in cherry red. She loves its beautifully simple shape, as it is flattering and easy to wear. Kate also likes the fact that she can wear the tunic across all seasons and can dress it up or down for any occasion. Finally meet, Claire, our incredible graphic designer. Claire’s number one garment is our vintage style inspired floral skirt. She takes delight from the print, adores the shape as it makes her feel sophisticated and she can’t wait to wear it on her summer holiday in Portugal. We love the fact that this collection is inspired by Lisbon and Claire will be wearing it in the Portuguese sunshine.
