Motion Control Products Ltd introducing cost effective MSD series Microstepping Drives
Welcome to Motion News June 2006. In this Edition, we are very pleased to introduce our high performance and cost effective MSD series of Microstepping Drives. MSD Series: Micro-stepping Drives Using an advanced bipolar constant-current chopping technique, our MSD series of microstepping drives can output more speed and power from the same motor, compared with traditional technologies such as L/R drivers. The MSD series are suitable for a wide range of stepping motors including Nema 16, 17, 34 and 42. They are ideal for applications with low vibration, high speed and high precision requirements such as X-Y tables, CNC machines, labelling machines, laser cutters, engraving machines and pick-place devices. Highlights MSD980 High Current 7.8A High Supply Voltage (Up to 90V DC) Resolutions up to 51,200 steps/rev Over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit Protection 14 selectable resolutions in decimal and binary MSD556 High Current 5.6A High Supply Voltage (Up to 50V DC) Resolutions up to 25,600 steps/rev Over-voltage and short-circuit Protection 15 selectable resolutions in decimal and binary MSD542 High Current 4.2A High Supply Voltage (Up to 50V DC) Resolutions up to 25,600 steps/rev Over-voltage and short-circuit Protection 15 selectable resolutions in decimal and binary MSD325 High Current 2.5A Supply Voltage (Up to 32V DC) Resolutions up to 1600 steps/rev Over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit Protection Optically isolated input signals, pulse frequency up to 100 KHz MSD415 High Current 1.5A High Supply Voltage (Up to 40V DC) Resolutions up to 25,600 steps/rev Over-voltage and short-circuit Protection 7 selectable resolutions in decimal and binary
