In sourcing equipment we regularly travel throughout the United Kingdom so customers further afield are welcomed too. Historically we started as a small family business in the early 80's and have continued to grow since then. We specialise in small fencing and all sorts of landscaping machinery. Here at Microplant we believe the service you can get from smaller concerns is often better, as each customer is valued more. However Microplant's quest to supply quality equipment has lead us to expand, so from 2003 Microplant has been working along side its new sister company Appin-Woods Machinery Ltd ( www.awmachinery.co.uk) who specifically import and sell Woods Mowers & Landscaping Machinery, Agrator Rotavators, Powered Tillage Equipment and Heavy duty Flail Shredders/Mowers, Shaver Spring Assisted Post Drivers, Post Hole Borers and stump grinders and Rabaud Fencing & Forestry equipment including post processing machines- post peelers and post pointers. Today we are a small concern, which means we actually care about the needs of our customers and treat them as individuals, unlike some larger businesses. This also gives us time to discuss the specific requirements of each customer and offer helpful advice and recommendations based on real experience of using machinery for the job it is intended should it be requested. Something which many of our competitors can not do and which many of our customers appreciate.
