METCASE’s TECHNOMET enclosure system offers several options for professional instrumentation, from benchtop housings and tower cases to 19-inch desktop mini-racks and VESA-mount HMI enclosures.
The standard TECHNOMET range is designed for benchtop electronics. These premium aluminium enclosures feature a modern design with no visible fixing screws, flush-fitting diecast front and rear bezels and options including sloping fronts, tilt feet and adjustable carry handles. They are well suited to test and measurement equipment, laboratory instruments and medical devices.
TECHNOMET TX uses a tower format to provide more internal space while using less desktop area. The vertical layout can accommodate larger PCBs, power supplies and complex assemblies, while also helping natural convection. This makes it useful for systems combining instrumentation with embedded computing, data acquisition hardware or multiple modules.
TECHNOMET 19-inch provides a compact desktop mini-rack format for standard 19-inch subracks, plug-in modules and front panels. It allows equipment developed in a desktop rack format to be transferred more easily into full rack systems. 10.5-inch versions are also available for 42HP assemblies.
For applications where controls or displays need to be positioned away from a desktop, TECHNOMET-CONTROL provides VESA-mount aluminium housings for HMIs, panel PCs and touchscreens. These can be mounted on suspension arms for improved positioning and ergonomics.
The TECHNOMET system is supported by accessories including mounting plates, shelf kits, PCB guides, panel fixings, carry handles and mounting hardware. Enclosures can also be fully customised with CNC machining, fixings and inserts, custom finishes and digital printing.
All customisation work is carried out in-house by METCASE, helping to maintain consistent quality and accountability throughout the manufacturing process.
