METCASE has introduced the TECHNOMET TX, a sleek new series of premium tower enclosures designed for tabletop electronic instruments.
With a compact footprint to maximise available workspace, these high-quality aluminium enclosures are ideal for applications such as test and measurement, industrial control, medical and wellness equipment, peripheral devices, communications, interfaces, and laboratory use.
Like other models in the TECHNOMET range, the new TX enclosures feature a modern, unified design with no visible fixing screws. The diecast front and rear bezels sit flush with the main body of the case, while snap-on trims at the front and rear conceal assembly and panel screws. Ventilation slots are located in the base and rear panel.
Depending on the size of the tower, the internal chassis can accommodate either three or four accessory shelves. These are intended for mounting PCBs and electronic assemblies and can be supplied pre-punched with inserts and pillars tailored to the customer’s specifications. M4 earth points are provided on all panels. The units also come with side handles and non-slip ABS feet. Front panels are available separately as accessories.
TECHNOMET TX is offered in two standard sizes: 280 x 175 x 240 mm and 350 x 220 x 300 mm. Two standard colour options are available: anthracite (RAL 7016) and a combination of traffic white (RAL 9016) with traffic grey A (RAL 7042).
METCASE can fully customise TECHNOMET TX to meet specific requirements. Customisation options include bespoke heights, widths and depths, CNC machining, custom front panels, inserts and fixings, painting and finishing, as well as photo-quality digital printing of legends, logos, and graphics.
TECHNOMET TX joins the wider TECHNOMET range, which also includes portable enclosures, sloping front instrument housings, VESA-mount HMI enclosures, and 10.5"/19" rack enclosures ranging from 3U to 6U.
