Keeping more of the painting process under direct control means the company can manage colour, preparation and finish quality more consistently across customised aluminium enclosures. It also reduces reliance on outside finishing operations, helping to streamline production and shorten lead times.
Powder coating is widely used for electronic enclosures because it provides a durable, attractive surface that can withstand regular handling and demanding working environments. METCASE can provide standard and custom colours to suit product branding and application requirements.
The upgraded facility supports METCASE’s wider in-house customisation service, which also includes CNC machining, drilling, tapping, fixings and inserts, custom front panels and digital printing.
By carrying out these operations under one roof, METCASE can maintain closer control over quality while reducing the need to move work between multiple suppliers.
