Alternative fuels for use in diesel engines originate either from renewable resources (bio-diesel, ethanol) or from specific processes such as Gas to Liquid (GTL), CNG, LPG or Dimethyl Ether (DME) – all of which offer significant potential to reduce our dependence on crude oil reserves.
