Some stories can change your life. Others are capable of changing the world. This is how the paths of Kingly and Google crossed, and how together they managed to save an astonishing 24 million litres of water.

While Google was searching for a ‘thank you’ gift for their partners and employees, they found Kingly - a promotional apparel and merchandise brand, specialising in sustainable production.

One sock design was made and was a great success. Many more followed.

For one particular order via an agency, we produced 34,000 pairs of upcycled socks for the global giant, resulting in the conservation of 24 million litres of water.

Behind this remarkable saving of water was Kingly’s vision and commitment to be the most sustainable and eco-friendly brand in the market. The yarn used for their promotional socks is upcycled (mechanically recovered) which in turn tops every environmental benefit of recycled textile yarn. The success of this order was, if we needed it, real proof that our policy of sustainability really does pay environmental dividends.

However, it doesn't end there! Through our work with Google we have reduced energy consumption by 90.168 kWh of electricity and also avoided the use of an amazing 1826 kg of pollutants!

The outcome of our collaboration with the global giant was a happy client that kept coming back for more.
