Kingly Welcomes South African Embassy Representative for Official Visit

Kingly had the distinct honour of welcoming Mrs. Renske Vos, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the South African Embassy in Bulgaria, to our headquarters and manufacturing facility in Sofia on April 23rd. This visit marks the second diplomatic tour* of Kingly’s operations, representing a proud and meaningful milestone in our journey toward strengthening international partnerships and advancing sustainable innovation in the textile industry.

Exploring Leadership in Sustainable Textile Manufacturing

Mrs. Vos was warmly welcomed by Mr. Robert Armour, CEO of Kingly, and Mrs. Sharika Betts, Assistant to the CEO, who led an in-depth tour of our award-winning, zero-waste production facility. She had the opportunity to experience firsthand how we combine premium craftsmanship with sustainability at scale, underpinned by global certifications including EcoVadis Platinum (Top 1%), OEKO-TEX® STeP Level 3, GOTS, ISO 9001 & 14001, and Sedex SMETA 4-Pillar auditing.

During the visit, discussions focused on Kingly’s innovative Cradle-to-Gate sustainability tracking system, our circular production model, and our commitment to social impact. It was clear that Kingly and the South African mission share common values: ethical business practices, environmental stewardship, and community-driven growth.

Opportunities for Future Collaboration

Beyond showcasing our technological and environmental leadership, the visit opened up exciting discussions about future cooperation opportunities. At Kingly, we firmly believe that true progress is made when businesses and nations work together toward common goals.

Visits like this reaffirm our belief that collaboration, innovation, and purpose-driven leadership are key to building a more responsible global economy. It was especially meaningful to us, as Mr. Armour was raised in South Africa, and his trusted right hand, Mrs. Betts, also hails from there. Their strong personal ties to South Africa made this diplomatic meeting even more special, deepening the connection between Kingly’s values and the spirit of collaboration across nations.

We extend our deepest thanks to Ms. Renske Vos and the South African Embassy for their engagement, their support, and their belief in our shared mission. As Kingly continues to grow, we remain dedicated to fostering global partnerships that drive meaningful change across industries, across continents, and across communities.

* Earlier this month, Kingly had the distinct honour of welcoming His Excellency Nathaniel Copsey, British Ambassador to Bulgaria, and Mr. Tim Buissseret, Commercial Attaché to the British Embassy, to its headquarters and production facility in Sofia. At the core of Kingly’s presentation was its Cradle-to-Gate sustainability tracking system.

The Ambassador’s visit came just one week after Kingly received the Best Manufacturer/ Wholesaler of the Year award at the BizX Awards in the UK, where CEO Rob Armour stood alongside British sporting and business icons Daley Thompson, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill.
