Kingly Hosts British Ambassador at Its Industry-Leading Sustainable Manufacturing Facility

Kingly Ltd. had the distinct honour of welcoming His Excellency Nathaniel Copsey, British Ambassador to Bulgaria, and Mr. Tim Buissseret, Commercial Attaché to the British Embassy, to its headquarters and production facility in Sofia on 8 April 2025.
The delegation was joined by Mrs. Dilyana Maneva, Deputy Executive Director of the For Our Children Foundation, and Mrs. Rumiana Jeleva, Corporate Partnerships Manager at SOS Children’s Villages Bulgaria. Their participation highlighted Kingly’s expanding collaboration with respected NGOs, aligning with the company’s long-term social responsibility commitments.
The guests were received by Mr. Robert Armour, CEO of Kingly, and Mr. Chris Edmonds, Chief Operating Officer, who led a tour of the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The visit reflected Kingly’s growing reputation for leadership in sustainable innovation and ethical production practices.
Cradle-to-Gate Transparency
At the core of Kingly’s presentation was its Cradle-to-Gate sustainability platform—a third-party verified system used by only a select few companies globally. Each Kingly product features a unique QR code, offering customers a detailed digital sustainability report with full transparency on its carbon footprint, ethical sourcing, and traceability from raw material to dispatch. Kingly also demonstrated its zero-waste production model, where textile waste is regenerated into premium upcycled products. These initiatives, supported by certifications including Ecovadis Platinum (Top 1%), OEKO-TEX® STeP Level 3, GOTS, ISO 9001 & 14001, and Sedex SMETA 4-Pillar auditing, position Kingly as a global leader in circular manufacturing.
The Ambassador’s visit came just one week after Kingly received the Best Manufacturer of the Year award at the BizX Awards in the UK, where CEO Rob Armour stood alongside British sporting and business icons Daley Thompson, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill.
Shared Vision, Shared Future
The Ambassador and Mr. Buissseret took a deep interest in Kingly’s long-standing charitable work, which includes support for disadvantaged children and families in Bulgaria through clothing donations, fundraising initiatives, and social impact projects. To commemorate the occasion, Kingly presented 20 pairs of bespoke, embroidered socks to His Excellency and proudly shared that another 20 pairs were recently crafted for British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer—a symbol of craftsmanship, care, and the British-Bulgarian partnership.
“This visit was about celebrating values—sustainability, unity, integrity, and the power of meaningful collaboration. It was a bridge between Britain and Bulgaria, built not just on trade, but on shared purpose,” said Rob Armour, CEO of Kingly.
Kingly extends its deepest thanks to Ambassador Nathaniel Copsey and Mr. Tim Buissseret for their visit, their engagement, and their recognition of Kingly’s mission to manufacture with conscience, innovate with purpose, and build a greener future—one stitch at a time.
