Kingly Creates Custom Socks for "Paddington in Peru" Screening

The initiative is part of British Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s new global campaign on children’s care

We are thrilled that Kingly created 260 pairs of custom tube socks for disadvantaged children as part of a heartwarming screening of the British film Paddington in Peru.

The event, held on January 17 at the Odeon Cinema in Sofia, was hosted by the British Embassy in Bulgaria. It marked the launch of British Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s inspiring new global campaign on children’s care, aimed at positively impacting young lives.

The evening began with a heartfelt welcome from His Excellency Nathaniel Copsey, British Ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria, who warmly thanked Kingly for our thoughtful contribution. The custom socks, specially designed for children up to 12 years old, were heartfelt tokens of care, bringing comfort and a personal touch to each child in attendance. Adding to the spirit of generosity, British Airways joined the initiative, distributing books and crayons to ignite creativity and bring smiles to children’s faces.

At Kingly, we believe in the power of small acts of kindness to create meaningful change. This collaboration embodies our dedication to sustainability, community support, and making a positive difference—one thoughtful gesture at a time.

We are deeply proud to have been part of this inspiring initiative and hope the children cherished the movie and their cozy new socks. Here’s to many more opportunities to bring warmth, joy, and hope to those who need it most.
