Hallamshire Engineering's rollers and pulleys range covers conveyor pulleys, rollers, and drums for material handling systems used across quarrying and mining, manufactured to customer specification or designed in-house for the application in question.
Solid Drum pulleys form the backbone of the range, fully welded and fabricated, supplied with either crowned or flat profiles, with slight crowning applied during final machining to aid belt tracking. Shaft options run from welded in and keyed in through to weld on hubs, locking elements, and integral bearings for dead shaft applications.
For sticky materials prone to build-up, the Slatted Disc and Slatted Vane pulleys offer self-cleaning action, with the Vane option featuring optional deflector plates for improved material displacement. Spiral Drum pulleys work on a similar self-cleaning principle using opposing spirals, assisting belt centring and tracking at a more competitive price than tubular alternatives.
Tapered Drums are built for curved conveyors, handling light, medium, or heavy loads across drive, tail, snubbing, and idler applications, giving better tracking than parallel rollers on bends.
Frames complete the range, available separately or as full assemblies, typically three to five rollers, manufactured in steel or polymer, and designed in-house around belt width, speed, and volume flow. Backed by Group Rhodes engineering pedigree throughout.
