Craven Fawcett's feeders and storage range handles the first stage of the process, taking raw quarried and prepared materials and moving them through to the next point of manufacture at a controlled, reliable rate. It's foundational equipment, and the range reflects decades of experience getting that first step right.
Box and belt feeders form the core of the offering, accepting almost any raw material from quarry or stockpile and delivering it via electronic variable speed drive. They also double as buffer storage for pre-ground material ahead of extrusion, with widths from 1000mm to 1800mm and steel slat or rubber belt bottoms depending on the material. Heavy-duty applications get bolt-on drive sprocket teeth and intermediate support rollers for shock loading resistance.
The Screen Feeder, available in 1500mm or 1900mm drum diameters, mixes and homogenises prepared material as it's extruded through perforated side plates, with variable speed or hydraulic drive options.
For dry ground or plastic clay, the Even Feeder uses multi-worm technology to deliver a consistent feed while also blending material along the way.
With capacities up to 200 tonnes and throughput up to 100 tonnes per hour, it's a range built for demanding, high-volume quarrying and materials processing operations, backed by Group Rhodes engineering pedigree.
