Weekend High Level Glass Replacements

Glazing Refurbishment carried out this high level glass replacement over the weekend. The project involved replacing units which were damaged and situated over 13 floors up, with the added complication that the glazing is situated in an overhead glazed atrium. Crane access was not possible due to proximity of other buildings on this central London site, so Glazing Refurbishment utilised an in house bespoke winch system to lift each of the 2 -No 400kg double glazed units the full 13 floors internally and into position before sealing and finishing off. The GR Specialist High Level Glass Division are here for such projects and once again have needed to be resourceful and innovative in their operational approach to what can only be described as a difficult access project.
