Large Glass & Framework Replacement Project Underway

Glazing Refurbishments trained site operatives are currently undertaking a large glass and framework replacement project at an Industrial site located just north of London. An old, tired glazed atrium existing above our client’s main reception area was in dire need of revitalisation and thus Glazing Refurbishment offered the client a full replacement package, bringing the atrium back to life and ensuring maximum thermal efficiency. With an obsolete system already in place, a proposed replacement was put in place and confirmed by the client. Our PASMA trained technicians, utilising the on-site fixed scaffolding arranged by the client and mobile scaffold towers provided by Glazing Refurbishment, were able to begin the required glass replacements at height safely and efficiently. Adhering to the customer’s required specification, our projects team have been able to stay within their budget and are on track to complete the entire project within the allocated time frame. Pictures below highlight our operatives working at height to remove all associated glazed units and framework from the overhead atrium, preparing for the installation of new components within the second stage of the project.
