Fuel Proof launch new bulk fuel tank range Leading fuel storage equipment manufacturer Fuel Proof have launched a new range of bulk fuel tanks which provide users with an all-in-one system for storing and dispensing both diesel and AdBlue. Developed to meet a rapidly growing demand from customers, the new tanks feature a dual compartment design with a mild steel diesel tank and stainless steel AdBlue tank, together with twin dispensing and filtration systems. Managing Director Andrew Hargreaves explains the concept behind the tanks and the benefits they will bring: “For several years now we’ve seen a growing demand from customers for an all-in-one system for diesel and AdBlue. A combined system allows for more efficient vehicle refuelling, and is much better from an installation and maintenance point-of-view compared to having separate tanks. Having both sets of dispensing equipment in the same cabinet means operators have one area for all their refuelling, which is easier in terms of lighting, security and electrical connection, for example. It also saves time as it eliminates the need for vehicle repositioning when switching from one liquid to another. The full height cabinet also means there is space to install a wide range of dispensing equipment to suit customer’s specific requirements.” “In many cases, the overall cost of a combined diesel and AdBlue tank is lower, and we’ve seen several operators take advantage of this by specifying larger capacities than they were originally planning, meaning they can order fuel and AdBlue in larger quantities and take advantage of bulk discounts.” The new range of combined bulk fuel tanks covers a wide range of capacities, with diesel tank sizes ranging from 5,000 litres to 60,000 litres, and AdBlue sizes from 900 to 4,000 litres. The systems are available with a wide range of fuel dispensing and management systems to suit different customers needs.
