This role focuses on planning and deploying the flow instrumentation portfolio of Endress+Hauser across the key industries, using the industry plans to influence both the long and short-term strategy of our sales centre. Successful implementation of the company’s strategic directions will require close cooperation with the Sales process. - Specific support for the internal sales process as and when required. - Provision of application and product training through both formal and informal methods. - Create, monitor, document and maintain frequently asked questions and act as a custodian for the Group’s application database. - Internal and external customer interfaces, both reactive and proactive relating to launch and phase-out processes, training and presentations. - Joint and unaccompanied customer visits with/for Sales to both current and prospective customers. - Supporting marketing communications with exhibitions, technical articles, case studies, local adaptations, campaigns and proof reading. - Commercial pricing for own and third party products, and special cases. - Embedding the product portfolio into the relevant key industry strategies via the industry plans and corresponding annual country plan. - Implementation of the product tactics defined in both the short and long-term strategies. - Gather and act upon local market intelligence relating to trends, competitors, technology, products, services, solutions and industries. - Research and collect customer requirements and other local insights. - Modification of the global Product Value Propositions (PVPs) to produce local PVPs for key products, solutions and services and continuous improvement of them. - Local input to assist the Group's development of product, services and solutions. - Improvement of the processes, methods and tools to plan and implement innovation from a marketing perspective. Qualification + Profile
- Minimum HNC in an engineering discipline (instrumentation, electrical/electronic or mechanical).
- CIM marketing qualification, willingness to obtain one or previous experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
