Emergency First Aid is a CSS Worksafe training course developed to improve knowledge, competence and safer working practices.
Aims & Objectives: This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks. Nominated emergency first aiders, or anyone wanting a comprehensive one day first aid course.
Suitability: All personnel.
Requirements: Students should be physically fit.
Syllabus: Health and safety (first aid) regulations. Managing an incident. The priorities of first aid. Treatment of an unconscious casualty. Resuscitation. Shock.
Choking. Seizures. Bleeding. Common workplace injuries. Notes. Fully Comprehensive notes will be given to all delegates who attend the course.
Certification: On satisfactory completion of the course a certificate of competence will be issued that will be valid for 3 years.
