Abrasive Wheels is a CSS Worksafe training course developed to improve knowledge, competence and safer working practices.
Aims & Objectives: To provide delegates with adequate training for purposes of Health and Safety when using Abrasive Wheels. To include training in the methods which may be adopted when using Abrasive Wheels and any risks which such use may entail and the precautions to be taken.
Suitability: Operatives/Engineers.
Requirements: Students should be physically fit.

Testing and inspection Blotting paper washers Flanges and wheel surface condition Speeds of abrasive wheels Wheel balancing Maximum operating speed Machine controls Provision of guards Work-rests Condition of floors Notes. Fully Comprehensive notes will be given to all delegates who attend the course.
Certification: On satisfactory completion of the course a certificate of competence will be issued that will be valid for 3 years.
