DSEAR Training 5 Day is a CSS Worksafe training course developed to improve knowledge, competence and safer working practices.
Aims & Objectives: This five-day course covers exactly the same material as the three-day DSEAR Risk.
Assessment: course, and in addition covers gas installations in detail. It is intended for organisations whose activities extend beyond standard commercial cylinders into larger gas installations and cryogenic storage, and who need to understand the associated COMAH.

Suitability: Operatives, laboratory workers, managers and safety managers responsible for DSEAR areas that include gas installations, bulk gas storage or cryogenic applications. For most companies whose needs are limited to standard commercial cylinders (argon, oxygen, acetylene, LPG, etc.), the three-day course is sufficient.
Requirements: No prior DSEAR risk.
Assessment: experience is required. Working group activities form part of the course.
