COSHH

COSHH is a CSS Worksafe training course developed to improve knowledge, competence and safer working practices.

Aims & Objectives: The course is designed to raise awareness of the Health & Safety issues associated with the use & handling of hazardous substances.

Suitability: All personnel.

Requirements: Students should be physically fit.

Syllabus: Overview of the COSHH Regulations 1999 Hazard Categories Manufacturers hazard data sheets Health effects of hazardous substances Effective use of control measures .

Appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Health monitoring Employees duties Notes. Fully Comprehensive notes will be given to all delegates who attend the course.

Certification: On satisfactory completion of the course a certificate of competence will be issued that will be valid for 3 years.
