We recently welcomed Alfie back to Croft as part of his T-Level Engineering course at Priestley College. This opportunity will allow him to build on the experience and knowledge he gained during his previous time with us, enabling him to engage in hands-on practical work that directly supports our commercial objectives while bringing fresh perspectives to the company.
Alfie chose to study Engineering due to his passion for cars and love for maths, allowing him to combine two things he enjoys. Opportunities like this empower the next generation of professionals by equipping them with valuable industry skills. As an SME, we strongly endorse supporting young professionals as they begin their careers.
Dr Louise Geekie, Project Manager at Croft Filters believes that by having a student here for two periods, approximately six months apart delivered a greater mutual benefit to both the student and the company. When the student returns for the second time they develop their skills and confidence enabling them to become an effective member of the team.
