New facilities for Damped Oscillatory Wave

Cranage EMC & Safety expands its facilities for Damped Oscillatory Wave Immunity Testing at 100kHz & 1MHz to include Fast Waves at 3, 10 & 30MHz caused by SF6 gas insulated switches being used in high and medium voltage power transmission. These tests are applied to electrical and electronic equipment installed in three-phase power and telecommunication systems associated with metering, monitoring, protection, and control. Cranage covers all damped oscillatory and impulse testing requirements for IEC, EN, and ANSI applications including the 10kV 5kA combination wave test recommended by the Federal Aviation Administration for Airport Lighting Fixtures which utilise LED technology. Special facilities are also available to meet unique customer requirements for damped oscillatory, impulse, and AC (50 & 60Hz) magnetic field immunity testing.
