Hockley, Essex – 2 April 2026 – After more than 35 years at the helm of BSM Packaging Supplies, founder Steven Taylor has stepped away from the business, leaving it in experienced and trusted hands.
Former Sales Manager Kerry Jeremiah has successfully completed a management buyout (MBO) of BSM Packaging Supplies, ensuring continuity for both customers and staff. The transition comes with a clear message: it is very much business as usual.
Steven Taylor, whose leadership helped establish BSM as a respected name in the packaging industry, expressed confidence in the company’s future under Kerry’s ownership.
The packaging industry has traditionally been male-led, making Kerry’s move into business ownership a notable step in bucking long-standing industry trends. With more than 30 years’ experience in the sector, she is well known to customers and suppliers alike and is widely respected for her commercial and operational expertise
With her deep industry knowledge and long-standing relationship with the business, Kerry is well placed to build on BSM’s success while guiding the company into its next phase of growth.
After more than 30 years in the industry, I thought the chances of ever reaching business ownership were behind me. I always felt I had too many responsibilities to take the risk when I was younger and raising a young family, little did I know the opportunity that would present itself to me well into my 40's! I am excited, honoured and humbled to have the opportunity to take BSM Packaging into its next chapter and am very grateful for the support I have been shown on this journey.
