AP Technologies has expanded its specialist optoelectronics portfolio with the addition of new global partners in 3D sensing, NIR laser diode technology and precision VCSEL components. This enhanced range gives OEMs, engineers and research customers access to high-performance standard and custom solutions for demanding optical and electronic applications.
The company now offers CubeEye indirect Time-of-Flight 3D depth cameras from meerecompany in South Korea. These compact iToF cameras are designed for robotics, automation, machine vision and industrial sensing applications. The CubeEye I200 model provides 640 x 480 depth resolution at up to 15 frames per second, with operating ranges from 0.25m to 7m. Its 940nm VCSEL illuminator also supports reliable performance in bright sunlight. A dedicated hub accessory can synchronise multiple cameras by staggering laser pulses, helping to reduce interference in multi-sensor systems.
AP Technologies has also strengthened its near-infrared LED and VCSEL offering through Edison Opto. Based in Taiwan, Edison Opto manufactures a wide range of surface-mount NIR LEDs, NIR VCSELs and compact direct Time-of-Flight sensors. These components are suitable for CCTV, surveillance, IoT, 3D sensing and low-power optical applications. Edison Opto’s 850nm and 940nm high-power LEDs provide strong output and wide beam divergence, making them a practical choice for modern sensing and imaging systems.
In addition, AP Technologies now supplies single-mode polarisation-locked VCSELs from IMM Photonics in Germany. These precision VCSELs are designed for applications requiring excellent beam quality, circularity and stability, including spectroscopy, analytics and oxygen sensing. Options include 850nm VCSELs with integrated monitor photodiodes, as well as 760nm VCSELs suited to oxygen detection.
SemiNex laser diode products are also being introduced to the AP Technologies range. These include singlemode and multimode laser diodes from 1250nm to 2400nm for lidar, sensing, datacom and long-range detection applications. SemiNex products support sectors including agriculture, construction, defence, automotive and marine.
Through these new partnerships, AP Technologies continues to provide reliable, high-performance optoelectronic components for industrial automation, safety systems, research, sensing, defence and advanced engineering projects.
