Axon has won a contract in Venezuela with PDVSA worth over $1m amidst stiff competition to monitor 2 fields with PCP pumps. The gauges are slimline welded Axon AW units run with cable to surface. Axon met the customers specifications in every respect and were also the lowest cost, providing excellent value for money. The systems monitor intake and discharge pressure as well as reservoir temperature, and are mounted above the pump in the production tubing
