NEW AUTOMATIC PRESSURE REGULATING STATION FROM WIT

The new 684NGA automatic pressure regulating station with a switch over and control unit from Witt Gas Techniques Ltd, the Warrington based gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier enables acetylene and other gas users using two or more gas cylinders to automatically switch from one cylinder or bundle to another for a continuous gas supply. A feature of this new automatic pressure regulating station is that it requires no manual intervention as it automatically identifies the master cylinder or bundle. It ideal for use by large quantity gas users, up to around 30m3/hr, requiring a continuous gas supply to gas cutting machines as well as welding and cutting torches in shipyards, automotive production and other high intensity fabrication work. This unit is also suitable for use with other flammable and non-flammable gases using varying gas flow rates. This pressure regulating station is an automatic all-in-one system not only supplying a continuous gas supply for users, but providing users with the ability to drain the gas supply using pressure control and to control the gas pressure using a highly visible digital display, illuminated push buttons clearly identifying the master cylinder or bundle being used and an audible alarm (a second audible alarm can be added if required). The control unit is attached to the pressure regulating station and the gas supply is controlled using a pressure switch, which identifies the set pressure and if it falls below the set pressure, the unit automatically switches the supply and informs the user.
