Timber is a naturally sustainable material that is renewable, recyclable and energy efficient, while offering a level of natural character and visual appeal that other building materials simply cannot match.

Whitmore’s Timber work closely with long-established partners across multiple continents to responsibly source a wide and varied range of hardwood species. Alongside an extensive stockholding, they also regularly procure non-stock species to meet specific project and customer requirements.

Oak is a particular specialism, with substantial volumes of both kiln-dried and air-dried oak held in multiple grades. Whitmore’s Timber also offer freshly sawn oak cut directly from the log to order, providing flexibility for bespoke and structural applications.
