Whitmores Timber has announced the appointment of Tom Bishop as its new External Sales Representative, strengthening its sales team and customer support across the Midlands and Home Counties.
Tom brings many years of experience in the timber industry, having started his career picking orders in a timber yard before progressing through roles with SV Timber, EH Smith and, most recently, James Latham.
His extensive background in the timber trade has given him valuable knowledge of the industry, its products and the requirements of customers across different sectors.
Supporting Timber Customers Across the Midlands and Home Counties
In his new role, Tom will predominantly cover the Midlands and Home Counties, visiting existing and prospective customers to discuss their timber requirements and develop business relationships.
His appointment further strengthens Whitmores Timber's external sales presence, providing customers with an experienced point of contact for timber enquiries.

Lloyd Clarkson, Sales Manager at Whitmores Timber, welcomed the appointment, commenting:
