Designed to be used with either the Leister vacuum bell (153.026) or the vacuum box (152.981) to create a non-destructive vacuum seal which tests the tightness and strength of overlap seams. To test the seams, apply?soapy water to the welded seam area, place either the vacuum bell or box over the area to be tested and swithc in the pump. Any leaks or defects in the seam will become apparent due to bubbles and/or the lack of consistent vacuum pressure.
